NEW PERIMETER GUARD FROM DOLAN-JENNER COMPLEMENTS THE
REVOLUTIONARY SafeScanEZ MACHINE GUARD

curtain technology, introduces a new addition to the SafeScanEZ Safety Light
Curtain family, the SafeScanEZ Perimeter Guard.
INTEGRAL ALIGNMENT
INDICATORS The new SafeScanEZ Perimeter Guard features integral visible
red alignment lasers at each end of the transmitter lightbar. Visible lasers on
the transmitter, together with green channel alignment indicators along the
length of the receiver lightbar, provide positive visual feedback and ensure
totally accurate alignment in mere seconds. Red alignment lasers are switched
off during normal run-time operation, removing any personnel hazards normally
associated with exposure to Class 2 visible lasers.
MAINTENANCE THE
EZ WAY Easily-replaceable integral weld/debris shields protect the
lenses from dirt and debris which can obscure or damage them and render them
inoperable. The extremely robust enclosure, extruded from high-strength,
lightweight 6063-T6 aluminum, is rated IP65.
STANDARDS COMPLIANCE
The SafeScanEZ Perimeter Guard system is UL/CUL listed and certified
compliant with Safety Category 4 per European Norms [EN954-1] and Harmonized
Standards for Electro-Sensitive Protective Equipment [IEC 61496-1, -2].
REVOLUTIONARY NEW PATENTED MOUNTING SYSTEM A patented
bracket system eliminates the need to fabricate brackets and makes mounting
easy. Side, rear and recessed mounting brackets ‹ covering all possible
types of installations ‹ are included, and can be positioned anywhere
along the length of the bar. These versatile brackets permit the bar to rotate
up to 8° on its axis and to slide up and down easily for extremely accurate
alignment. Once the bars are properly aligned, the unique, patented lock-down
system virtually eliminates the need for further adjustment.
SafeScanEZ Perimeter Guard is available in lengths from 12" (4 beams) to 72"
(24 beams) in 12" increments, with an operating range of 30m (100'). It
features Class 1 infrared laser transmitters, 75mm channel spacing, and
integral Class 2 visible alignment lasers at the ends of the transmitter
lightbar. An optional latching relay output module is available.
